Your last few newsletters including this one feel like a mirror image of my thoughts. But lately I have been wondering that now that we know that are in this for the long run, then we need to make a new plan. As I am the CEO now :) I understand that my next quarter is not looking good. I need to keep my company financially and emotionally afloat during this time. So keeping that in mind I have to find ways to be more productive in my current circumstances and run a tight ship. So just like Elon Musk made a makeshift tent to improve the production of Model 3, we also need to think of our time at home as this makeshift tent where we need to make things work. Because frankly, we cant be complaining or feeling scared for 3 months. (as per your survey).
I have also been wondering a lot about how this situation is affecting hackers (the fat kids sitting in the basement of their parents house), the darknet (are people over there also always talking about Covid?) and our pets(how are they feeling with us being home all the time). Crazy times lead to crazy thoughts :)
I was thinking along very similar lines. I saw a tweet thread a couple days ago by a guy who'd served on a submarine and he said that a schedule and routine was really important in confinement.
Lovely. My wife wrote of a very similar thing in our newsletter last week. She called it the "In-between." (https://learnleapfly.com/2020/the-in-between/)

This line brought tears to my eyes: “My hair salon’s smiling Valentine’s Day hearts look on blankly as I pass them by.”
This new world is so weird.
